THE WANDERING TRAVELER

Stephie the founder and creative designer of Wandering Solstice Design has been in the design industry for the last 10 years. Having graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelors in Interior Design, Stephie started off her career as an Hospitality Interior Designer. After 6 years in the industry she made a huge decision after a trip to India and decided to go travelling the world throughout Europe and Asia to discover new cultures, design and architecture. After travelling for more than half a year from continent to continent she then moved to Hong Kong and soon after New Zealand.

It was in New Zealand where Stephie started picking up sustainable practices. While living a more sustainable lifestyle in the country she started building and designing Camper-Vans, learned about branding design, as we all as started making sustainable jewelry, etc. She was introduced to florals when her friends started growing and selling them on their permaculture property. She would grab recycled mason jar glasses and design arrangements in them straight from the garden. Never did she think that a few years later she would be starting and business and flowering herself.

Stephie has dabbled in all elements of design which gives her a different edge in the design community. From her large scale projects as Interior Designer, to her sustainable lifestyle, she has implemented all these beautiful aspects into her designs.
